Hello Final 12! Congratulations on making it through the first (non)elimination!

This week, we have a photoshoot AND a challenge for you all!

SHOOT #2- TwitPic

Inspired by the spread "MeiselPic" found in the December 2009 issue of Vogue Italia

This week, the judges want to get to know YOU a little better!

In this photoshoot, you will be choosing ONE candid picture of yourself in your normal day-to-day life from your twitter, facebook or myspace page and recreating that ONE scene with a fashion edge. If you do not have pictures on these sites, choose one from your computer. It can NOT be a shot of you modeling.

The example above shows TWO pictures, but you will only be choosing and completing ONE

For example, if you choose a picture of yourself sitting in the back seat of a car, you would re-shoot yourself with the back seat as your location, modeling your clothing and looking FIERCE!

In this shoot, you essentially have the freedom to choose EVERYTHING and do what you want! The picture, the location, the makeup, the styling, the mood is ALL up to you! Get as creative as you can! We want you to display your personality and your modeling aesthetic. What do YOU think looks fashionable?

You will send in 6 frames, as well as the original picture you drew inspiration from and a caption to use under your photo.


CHALLENGE #1- Getting to Know You

We would like to get to know you a little bit better! For your challenge this week, you will film and upload a confessional to Youtube or photobucket explaining a little bit about who you are, what you do, your passions, your interests. You may also like to include a little bit about the first week of the competition. Talk about anything you like! The video should go for about 2 minutes, no longer than 8. It is not compulsory, but failure to submit an entry could result in a penalty. The model who impresses us the most with their personality will win a prize. Quality of the camera will not be taken into account.


BOTH tasks are due next Tuesday, so you have a week! They do not need to be sent at the same time!

On second thought, just to be clear: On the example, the top one is her candid pic and the bottom is her recreated, fashionable one? Or is the top one meant to be a slightly fashionable candid one already?

No, no no sorry- Abbey's pic is TWO "fashionable recreations of her in her own element, if you will. So what you will be doing is half of what she did, youll just do ONE. The photoshoot ive set isnt exactly the same, its just inspired by.

Dont look at the format of Abbey's pic. Find a picture of yourself, recreate it to be a fashion image and send in the recreated version AND the original. I will do the rest

gesh so angry and uncute i think ill get rid of my shout out to leigh now.

I'm not gonna make a vid.
You know my personality enough and i won't let you know anything else, you know my ambition is to be a singer, i've already posted a video where i introduced my projects and my look but it's been completely ignored, and i could write down here that my interests are: music, to travel, fashion, to study languages, to dance and write...so i don't see the necessity to make a video. That's it.
