I'm with AJ (surprisingly). I didn't want to make the videos last cycle either. I didn't have fun doing them, I thought it was lame, and I didn't care if it got me eliminated (I think Bree commented on that during panel, she was right). I wouldn't want to make a video starring me, directed by me, produced by me, with commentary by me.

Unless I said some random BS that was hilarious.... maybe you should do that? The judges wont appreciate it, but they can't penalize you for it either MUAHAHAHA. I speak from experience

i would've agreed with him if he hadn't made such asinine remarks in the judging panel thread.

First cent: I don't think challenges should be mandatory. Sure, they could give bonus points or other rewards, but I don't think they should be mandatory.

What? The writing/acting was so awful from those 2 goons who were like "we're the meanies in this joint." They kept popping up and the only good part was where one of them is like "and hey, fancy, Supercuts doesn't take appointments. They love walk-ins!."

The preview totally mislead me to think it was like the Madonna episode but they only performed 2 of her songs and had one in the background.

Poker Face was so inappropriate for Rachel to sing with her mom (who was like.. it's too late for me to bring you a glass of water. HUH?)

It was peppered with hilarious moments but I was let way down.

The guys singing Kiss. Bleck.

Yeah, the writing and acting in all the hallway scenes with the jocks was horrendous. I felt like I was just watching a musical episode of Degrassi.
And Kurt and Finn both pissed me off beyond belief. They both need to chill and realize that they're just different people.
And the whole Tina storyline with the principal? That was just ridiculous. And her scaring him dressed like a vampire? That was so lame and unrealistic.

And I agree about Poker Face. A song about a woman having sex with her man but thinking about a woman the whole time? Yeah, that's a nice mother-daughter farewell tune.

I think this was the weakest episode as of yet.

I love him more than ever after that whole scene with him and Finn.

And I felt really bad for Rachel, because she expected so much from Idina Menzel.
Like, when she said "Oh, my mom made this for me!" my heart broke because she'd never actually have the mother-daughter relationship she wanted with her.

But I'm glad they went over that whole storyline because I Dreamed a Dream and Poker Face were amazingly done. But I still don't think Poker Face was appropriate, albeit it was fantastical.

Beth is an ugly name though, isn't it? They'll end up wanting to keep it too. Right?

I do love Rachel more with each episode.

The costumes alone made the episode worth it.
Quinn's eyelash feathers, Tina's bubbles, Finn's red ensemble.
The costumer had me gushing.

I dreamed a dream almost made me cry. Especially the "tigers come at night, with their voices soft as thunder".."I had a dream my life would be so different from this hell I'm living."

Can't wait till they throw Kurt a bone and introduce his love interest.

& did anyone else hear/read that the next season will only have Puck or Artie? Not both. I hope it's just a rumor because Artie has a great voice and... we've all seen Puck's arms.

my favorites are still the three cheerleaders, with brittany slowly taking over quinn.

and I loved like the first 10 mins of that Glee episode...the scene with tina and shu and figgins was HILARIOUS. The Twilight stuff was gold. I loved Bad Romance. But yeh the bullies were lame and WTF was with poker face- singing a song about blow jobs with your mother? Weird. They sang it well, though. But weird!

And I too thought it would be GaGa all episode! Bit of a let down
